Glaze Technology - with Lawrence Ewing

The Diploma in Ceramic Arts offered by Otago Polytechnic as a distance programme includes a 2 year paper on Glaze Technology. The paper has been running successfully now for 3 years and is managed by Lawrence Ewing.

Use of the internationally acclaimed software Matrix, authored by Lawrence, is an integral part of the course.

If you are interested in learning about glaze but you do not want to do the full Diploma in Ceramic Arts programme, you can take this paper on its own working in your own studio at home. Apart from the capacity to mix and fire test glazes, all you need is a computer, a connection to the internet and an email account. The course is delivered via a web site designed and managed by Lawrence.

For more detailed information about this paper click the more button ..

If you would like to make enquiries about enroling to take this paper email Neil Grant who manages distance ceramic programmes at Otago Polytechnic. ..
