Hello,
I'll be coming to Australia in June to teach in the Distance Program at the National University in Canberra, June 12-20. My partner, Carolanne Currier, and I are interested in the possibility of coming to New Zealand if there is a possibility in my doing a workshop or two. All to the good if it might involve firing an anagama.
I was last in Kiwiland in 1983, when I taught 8 schools in 10 weeks, from Manganoui to Invercargill, and managed visits to Stewart Island and the Milford Track. While I don't plan to duplicate that breakneck schedule, I'd be very much interested in making contact with any group who'd care to sponsor me.
I'd need airfare from Canberra, transport within NZ, lodging and some reasonable compensation. (Carolanne will pay her own airfare). I have no experience in lounging about and would come to work and share my 48 years of experience as a potter and teacher.
