Getting a Potters Page

  Potters Pages

Instructions for Getting Your Own FREE Potters Page

If you are an NZSP member you can have your own Potters Page. It's a very easy process.

All you need to do is:

  • take 6 good photographs of your work.

If you have a digital camera this could do the trick or you could take standard photographs and scan them. If you do not have a scanner then you could send me the phographs and I can do it for you.

Good quality photographs are important - remember these will represent what you do with clay.

You may include amongst your 6 photographs an image of yourself or of your studio - in fact any pictures which you feel are relevant.

  • write a statement to go on your page.

This can be about yourself, you career, your pots, your life philosphy - it is your page!. It could include your CV, exhibitions you have been included in, prizes you have won etc.

This can be as long as you like. I will format it on the web page for you and check with you to see that it is as you want it.

Your address and contact details will be displayed from our database of members. If you do not want these displayed you need to tell me and I can turn that information off.

  • take a photograph of your mark

If you use an identification mark on your forms we can now place an image of that mark on your potters page.

Send a photograph of your mark together with the six photographs of your work.

Sending the photgraphs and statement to Jim Pollard

  • Email the statement and the photographs as attachments to

    Jim Pollard- j.pollard@netaccess.co.nz

You can use email to send both the statement and the photgraphs to Jim if you have written your statement on a word processor and if your photographs are in digital form - i.e. they have been scanned or have been taken with a digital camera.

    OR

  • Post the statement and the photographs

If you do not have computer facilities then send Jim a printed form of your statement and photographs and I will get process them and send them on to the web manager for placing on your page. Post to:

    11 Camrose Place
    Ilam
    Christchurch
