OTAGO/SOUTHLAND DELEGATE'S REPORT January 2010
Hello Otago and Southland Region members of the New Zealand Society of Potters. I hope you all enjoyed the Festive Season and are recharged for the year ahead?
2010 is a big year for our region as we again host the New Zealand Society of Potters National Conference and Exhibition, Fusion 2010, over the weekend 7-11 April 2010. The venue for the Conference is the Otago Polytechnic School of Art and we are very grateful to the Administration for the opportunity to use their superb new facilities. If you havent been down to the Art School recently, you should go and look at the new building and what it has to offer. We are also delighted to have secured the Otago Museum exhibition gallery for the Fusion 2010 Exhibition along with the Museum lecture theatre, which will be the venue for Kurt Spureys public lecture.
