Employment Opportunites

If you have work in the field of pottery or ceramc arts then you can advertise positions on nzpotters.com. If you are looking for work then you might find it on the Employment page.

At present this offer requires that you email the details to me together with any relevent images so that I can enter the information on the Employment page.

If this becomes a popular feature then a web form can be created so that advertisements can be entered on-line.

News

One of the advantages of a web site is that it can be right up to the minute in the presentation of news.

Throughout the country and perhaps overseas things are happening in the world of pottery that we cannot know about unless we are notified in some way.

nzpotters.com now has the capability to accept news items, together with an image, from members entered through a web form. This means you can enter a news item from anywhere in New Zealand or in the World for that matter.

There is a page called News which displays the latest two items in full and offers a list of previous items in groups of 6. There is a link on tht page for those who have an item of news to enter.

If you would like to write a short report on a happening that you think would be of interest to readers of this website then you can do so from the News page.

If you are not comfortable with the use of web forms on-line then email the news item to me (with an image if you have one) and I will enter it for you.

Instructors

nzpotters.com often receives requests for information about potters or ceramic artists who might be willing to take weekend schools or teach pottery classes on a regular basis.

Each year students graduate from schools of art or polytechnics with qualifications in the field of pottery or ceramics. Some of these students would have much to offer in sharing the expertise and knowledge they have developed during the student nd post graduate years.

The Instructors section of the website invites members who would like to offer their services to "register" on nzpotters.com as "Instructors". The only condition attached to this offer is that you must have a "Potters Page" on nzpotters.com.

When you register as an instructor your information will be available to others looking for instructors or teachers. Your listing on the Instructors page will also be linked to your Potters Page and vice versa.
